Visit of General Shaw Clifton
Liberation weekend will see the visit of General Shaw and Commissioner Helen Clifton to Guernsey. The Salvation Army will be celebrating this weekend with a number of events:
Saturday 8 May
7.00 pm United Festival of Praise at Clifton Hall
Sunday 9 May
10.30 am People’s Liberation Service at St. James (General Shaw Clifton will Preach)
4.30 pm Guernsey Sings (1,000 voices choir at North Beach)
7.00 pm United Meeting at L’Islet Fortress (all welcome)
